Yes it is a New Year. And here it is the 18th of January and I haven't been on this computer to update my blog. So here it goes. I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a good start on the new year. In the pictures below you will see Scott and I playing our Wii game Mario Kart, which I am not so good at and am always in 12th place. I guess I better practice up. My grand kids, can beat me and they let me know too. Brad also is teaching Mik how to play the Wii Guitar Hero and Mik thinks he can play the expert like Brad can so he is not to thrilled to be put on beginner or easy, he is getting the hang of it now, so we told him to keep it up and he will soon be up to where Brad is. Notice his face in the pictures. Too funny!! On January 10 (last weekend) Scott and I had the privilege of going to a party of our old neighborhood friends from West Jordan, which we try and have each year, this year it was held at Elaine and Richard Henriksen. It was so fun to see everyone again, and catch up on families and what their kids are doing and also find out who is still in the old neighborhood and who has moved out. We were told that the West Jordan 51st ward is celebrating 25 years this summer and that there will be a party and celebration to be held. We were excited, other than our first bishop Gale Searle has past away and so has his wife (I just got a call today of her passing) so it won't be the same without them, but we will see others that will make it fun. Bishop Searle was a genuine person and so great to have as our bishop. Cowboy through and through, he made you feel so special to have in the ward, he was fun to have as a neighbor also.
Right before Scott and I went to the party the twins Halli and Kinzie found some orange boxes and made themselves little houses for them to watch tv in and put all their blankets and things in, I hurried and grabbed my camera and took their picture.
Well I have started back on my exercise program, with going to my personal trainer and walking, I didn't make my 15 pounds that I was suppose to lose by Christmas, but I guess I will have to keep on pushing myself. Yesterday when I was doing my weight exercising I was just finishing doing a lateral pull up on my stability ball and putting the weight down, and POP goes the ball and down came me on my tail bone! YES it hurt and I was starting to cry and Scott who was riding his spin cycle came to the rescue, but was laughing (or at least trying not to laugh) comforted me and helped me up, but boy do I hurt, and am afraid to get on another ball again, but we went and got another one and the kids helped me pump it up, and I sat on it and the kids asked if it was going to pop again? I said it better not, or I am finished with them. It still hurts to sit down, but I do it really soft.
Well I have done my job in bringing this back to life after a couple of weeks. Enjoy the pictures. Talk to you soon!!!
