A New Calling? What?!! Not Me?!

Time is going by so fast I am going crazy. We got back from our cruise on Feb 7 and the next day Scott flew out of town/country to Japan. So my week was a little quiet, other than the normal things like housework, in which I did very little! LOL! I hate the weekends when Scott has to stay out of town through, they are so boring, with absolutely nothing to do, plus it was Valentines Day. I got a call on Sunday morning asking if Scott and I could talk with the Bishop at 1:15, I told Brother Morris that Scott was out of town and would it be alright if I just came, he said yes, so I went to choir practice at 11:30 and came home, and waited until 1:10 and left to go to the church. As I was sitting in the hall waiting there were other people waiting also, and thought I hope all of these people need to see the bishop and church starts at 2:00, ok then what is up. But some people were waiting for prayer meeting. Well it was my turn and the Bishop asked where Scott was, and I told him in Japan, he asked if we could call him, and then my mind starting going, what is this about, we tried but didn't him, so the bishop extended the calling without Scott. I was called to be the first counselor in the Relief Society, little did they know that Scott had been praying for me to get this call, but Scott didn't know that the whole Relief Society was being changed and it wasn't Cindy Behunin that I was going to serving with. The President is Marla Rush, and she is just the most go getter ever, and I am so excited to be working with her, the second counselor is Sara LuBean and she too is a very enthusiastic person to be working with. The secretary is a new move in Stacy San Juan, and what I have noticed is the same as the others, just completely determined to do what is called of her and very up beat. I am very scared, nervous and not knowing what to expect or do. I am leaving it in the Lords hands to help me. I hope I don't let any one down especially myself. I love being in Relief Society, and know the importance of it. I love this ward and the people around me. So give me a boost of encouragement to get through this. I still can't believe it.
