I can't believe that I still don't keep up with this blog. We added a new addition to our family, in the form of a dog, her name is Izzie and she is almost 9 weeks old. She has been fun to have around other than she doesn't know her name very well, and doesn't listen (just like kids). The grandkids love her and where her out, which is funny, they run and chase her and when all is done she ends up going into her kennel pooped out.
Scott and I have been asked by the bishopric to team teach the Marriage relationship class, we and 2 other couples will take turns teaching through out the year. This we will do along with our other callings. I have been in the Relief Society Presidency for 2 years now, but it seems like I have just started, I really don't know if I have helped any of the sisters or not. I really enjoy the calling though.
Brad is doing so well out on his mission, he is having baptism's and teaching investigators like crazy. I am very impressed with him and how he has embraced the gospel. He has taught me a lot.
Our daughter Lisa has found out that she has thyroid cancer and will be having surgery on March 6 to have it removed. I will be helping her with the kids. Scott and Lisa were able to go to St. George this past weekend, so we had the kids, it was very interesting having a little person like Colter around. He really doesn't like to sleep anywhere but his own bed, this first night was a complete disaster, he ended up getting up at 1 a.m. and didn't want to go back to bed, so I ended up laying in bed with him on my chest, and finally putting by my side, but I couldn't sleep for fear of rolling on him, so as you can guess I was very tired the next day, lucky for me it was a saturday and Scott was home to help with the kids. It was a cold day so the kids played in side and we took them to lunch, they watched tv with Scott, who likes to watch old show on Netflix such as Gunsmoke, and other old show, which surprisingly the kids don't mind watching them, we then took them to dinner at Pizza Pie Cafe, they really enjoyed it there. The night seemed to go easier for Colter, we ended up putting a heater in the room, and he did sleep a lot better. Church went fine the kids were really good. Colter went to sunday school with us and then to priesthood with Scott, he started getting tired, so he ended up in the foyer with Scott and then home, for lunch. Well, all went well Lisa and Scott picked up the kids about 5 and we sat back and enjoyed the rest of the night together. Here is a picture of Izzie.
