Well, the day has finally come! Yes, you guessed it! My cast is off, I got it off yesterday, no more purple cast that I have to drag around with me. It does feel good to have off, but it hurts to walk on it for very long. This too will pass and I will be walking my 4 miles soon!
Summer is coming to an end. School started yesterday, Brad is now a junior in high school. Here is a picture of him in front of his truck. Mik (Lisa's son) started school yesterday also. He had to call me in the morning to say "I am going to the first grade, Mema" I asked him if he was excited? and he yelled into the phone YES! He was excited to take his lunch, he didn't want to buy his lunch and is trying to talk his mom into buying him a lunch box. He cracks me up. I have been enjoying being at home. I am trying to get things done that I have put on hold. I have been released from the young womens in the ward, I was not in there for very long, only about 7 months, I was really enjoying it, but I guess they wanted to change the whole YW. I am now the Relief Society's communication specialist, and the ward new member contact. When new people move into our ward boundries I am the one to welcome them. I am trying to put a packet together to give them, so if any one has any ideas to give me let me know. Well all is well here. Oh I was going to show you a picture of Scott and Brad on the 50 mile hike they had gone on. This picture is them on the top of Kings Peak! And then a few other picutres that were breath taking. Enjoy! Take care and have a great week.

How fun to read about life at the Farnsworth home! I am so glad that you started a blog! I now check it out when I'm checking my daughters-in-law.
